You have the problem that your outlook stop to receive mails after a few kb and than brings you a timeout error message ?
Here is the solution and it works fine.. it is like so many things under VISTA a MS Vista problem.. 😉
- Go to Programs -> Accessories and right click on command prompt and select “run as administrator”
- Then type in the following:
netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disable
after that you Outlook is working like before under Windows XP.

Most of the ISP’s in Thailand started to block the outgoing mail server Port 25.
Ask your hosting company if they provide you a alternative Port (f.e. 587, 2525) and than usually everything is working fine again.
